Does anyone remember the rabbit from Alice in Wonderland?

ImageThe rabbit comes to mind when I think about today’s market place when wanting to buy a home. Why is that you make ask? Well that is because if you don’t arrive above the curve than you will be left by the side of the street. I spoke with a friend of mine yesterday about Hedge Funds such as Black Stone or THR and how they are scooping up all the properties even before the average buyer can get to them. The the inventory is shrinking and you have to get creative to find homes but most importantly you have to know how to get your bid recognized above all other. I know a week back or so, I mentioned some ideas on how to get your bid noticed and I surely do hope you heed my warnings but I feel time is essential to any buying opportunity.

I have seen it too many times where a potential buyer wants to go home and “think about it” but really time does not exist for thinking. I am not saying that you should rush into making one of the biggest decisions of your lifetime but I definitely feel you need to be prepared way in advance to make the choice quickly and accurately. HINT: THIS IS WHERE YOUR REALTOR WOULD COME IN!

I know buyers will begin to get discouraged after months of looking or perhaps you even placed bids but I encourage you to never give up on your dreams of home ownership. Never stop trying because we all know the saying “it is always darkest before the dawn” and i could not agree more. As well, I urge your to claim your portion of land before all these hedge funds get all the properties.

If you are running into road block after road block continue to press on. I would encourage you to reevaluate your plans of attack and than go after it again. I know you will find the home you’d like to purchase and all it takes is a little effort to put you above the rest.

So my thought for you today is to A) Make sure to be ready to act quickly if you find the home you love B) Never give up your search & C) Please make sure you are always working with the RIGHT Realtor if you choose to go that route.
